Via ABC News: Lea Thompson reflects on Back to the Future at 30 years
It’s been almost 30 years since “Back to the Future” hit theaters in 1985, but the movie starring Michael J. Fox and Lea Thompson is just as iconic as ever.
Thompson, 53, who played Lorraine, Fox’s mother in the film, spoke to US Weekly about the movie and her favorite memory of filming.
“My favorite memory of ‘Back to the Future’ actually is seeing it! I was engaged to Dennis Quaid at the time and the movie had been out for like two months and we went to the Cinerama Dome,” she said. “They gave me a free parking spot and it was completely full and we stood in the back and watched the whole movie. People were just ecstatic!”
